Foodie Sunday is returning this month!

Foodie Sunday is returning on Sunday 29 September as part of Taste Salisbury and we’re serving up a celebration of the wonderful variety of food and drink venues, producers and sellers found in the city and local region.

Join us from 10am to 5pm in Salisbury Market Place and indulge in a delicious fiesta of international flavours, local delicacies, sweet treats and delicious drinks as well as cookery demos, live music, workshops, stalls and much more!

The Mayor of Salisbury, Cllr Sven Hocking, will give an opening speech at 11:15am at the Music Stage.

The day will see the return of the annual baking competition the Great Salisbury Bake Off, sponsored by Reeve the Baker and Charter 1227 Catering. Bring your best bake and you just might win a prize! Just drop it off at the Information Point on the day by 1pm to enter. Winners will be announced by the Mayor of Salisbury at 2:15pm at the Music Stage.

Also returning is our Eating Competition, sponsored by Pritchetts Family Butchers. Keep an eye on our Facebook, Instagram and X pages for information on how to register.

For the second year, there will be a pre-loved cookbook stall. You will be able to browse a selection of pre-loved books all about cooking, food and recipes.

As a new addition for 2024 we will have Stray Dog providing fantastic real ale and craft beer, as well as a small selection of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the Beer Tent.
