Communities Support Assistant

​Salary: £23,893 – £24,702
​Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, to include occasional weekends and/or prearranged late finishes (max 8pm)

​This role is a vital source of administrative support for a lively communities team focused on improving the wellbeing of Salisbury Residents, young and old. You will be the friendly and informative front door for all enquiries, community centre hires and group bookings, placing the post holder at the heart of the team. If you thrive on using and implementing systems to make things run smoothly but are looking to be part of a team that positively impacts the public that you interact with daily, we would love to hear from you.​

​We are looking for people who:

​Proven experience in administrative and public facing roles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge and proven experience of using Microsoft Office as constant use of Word, Excel and Outlook
A friendly approach to responding to enquiries and solving day to day booking and administrative issues
To be highly organised and detail oriented
A good team player, as this role interacts with every member of the Communities team
