Crematorium Officer (part-time 2 days per week)

Salary:  £10,050 (actual salary for 15 hours per week)

​Hours:  15 hours per week, Thursday & Friday, 08.30 – 16.30

​We have a new vacancy at Salisbury Crematorium for a part-time Crematorium Officer.  Experience working in a similar environment or within the public service sector would be advantageous, however, full training will be provided.

​The role will involve working as part of a team to cover office and chapel duties along with giving guided tours and assisting the bereaved families at services.

​There will be a requirement to attend burials in any of our three cemeteries and assist with scattering ashes with families when required. There may be a very occasional requirement to assist with a Saturday cremation service

​The ideal candidate will be willing to learn the cremating process with in-house training to gain the ICCM qualification to assist and/or deputise for the Cremation Technician.
