Information Team Officer (Customer Services Officer – Tourism and Shopmobility)

£21,029 – £21,189 (£10.90 per hour) plus enhancements when working Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays
37 hours per week, worked on a rota. Our services are open Monday-Sunday so working days will include Monday-Sunday.

We are really proud of our Information and Shopmobility services and team. Due to an internal promotion we are now looking for someone to join our team.

The Customer Services Officer deliver services to residents and visitors to the City. You will have excellent customer care skills and preferably experience of working with tourists or with people who have mobility needs.

You will need to be able to work within a demand led service accessed by members of the public, this may mean that it is very busy at some times and quieter at others so need to be able to manage your workload within this environment.

You will need to have a ‘can do’ attitude towards finding out information for people within the services that are offered.

Experience of dealing with a variety of enquiries in a timely manner
Good local, regional and national knowledge
Good understanding of local services

IT keyboard skills

Qualifications
A minimum of Grade C GCSE in English, Maths or equivalent

Attributes
A friendly disposition with a courteous and polite manner
Smart, professional appearance
Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience and professionalism at all times
