Notice of Vacancy in Office of Councillor

A vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Salisbury (Salisbury St Paul’s Ward) of the City Council.

An election to fill the vacancy will be held if 10 electors from the City Ward of Salisbury (Salisbury St Paul’s Ward) write to the Returning Officer at Wiltshire Council by 3 October 2024 asking for an election to be held. Otherwise, the vacancy will be filled by co-option. If an election is called, it will take place no later than 5 December 2024.

A Notice of Vacancy has been displayed on the City Council’s website here and the Wiltshire Council website. The Election Request Form can also be found on the Salisbury City Council website or collected from the Salisbury Information Centre.
