Welcoming spaces
for all

Salisbury City Council’s Communities Team has been working with community partners across the city to create this list of Warm and Welcoming Spaces available in the city across the Winter. These are places that residents can visit for low to no cost to be with other people in a safe, warm and welcoming environment. These spaces include community centres, church halls and other projects. Most of these places are supported by volunteers or community workers and are all great spaces to meet people or simply be.

The Warm and Welcoming spaces list can be downloaded here

Paper copies are also available across the city and at the following City Council run spaces:

• Friary Community Centre – Carmelite Way, The Friary, SP1 2HW
• Bemerton Heath Centre, 58 – 60 Pinewood Way, Bemerton Heath, SP2 9HU
• Community Cafe – Baptist Church, Brown Street, Salisbury, SP1 2AS. Every Tuesday morning from 10 – 1pm

If you are running or thinking of setting up a warm and welcoming space in Salisbury please contact the Communities Team on bhc@salisburycitycouncil.gov.uk or 01722 417100.

The Salisbury City Warm and Welcoming Spaces list was last updated in December 2022.
