The popular Car Boot Sales are over for this year but we look forward to its return in April 2022!

It's just £5 per car on the day or £10 for vans or cars with trailers.  No need to book.....just turn up on the day to be allocated the space to put your car on the Market Place.

Open to sellers from 7:00am and to buyers from 9:00am - 12:00pm.  Spaces allocated on a first come first served basis.  

Free entry to buyers!

Community Grants Fund

The next opportunity to have Minor or Major Community Grants assessed by communities working group will be 1st March 2022. Grant applications made before 20th Nov 2021 will be assessed in the January meeting. This is due to our capacity to assess all the applications in a timely manner.

Salisbury City Council have two funding streams for community grants that will benefit residents of the Salisbury City Area.

Please read the Community Grants Policy for full information regarding processes and requirements.

A. Minor Grant

Designed for organisations that require a modest amount of funding for a project which can be completed within one year and which will benefit the local community of the Salisbury City Area. The maximum amount available under the Minor Grant scheme is £500.

B. Medium Grant

An innovative funding stream ideal for organisations which may wish to carry out longer term projects. Under the Medium Grant scheme organisations may apply for a grant from £500 up to £3,000 for up to 3 years.

C. Major Grant

Is for applications exceeding £3,000 for projects and activities that sit outside Community Grant criteria.

D. Rent Reduction Subsidy

For sports. Youth and Social Clubs that occupy buildings or land owned by Salisbury City Council.
