St George’s Day

St George’s Day is taking place on 23 April 2023 in Salisbury Market Place and we are on the hunt for entertainers, food vendors, fair rides and more.

Salisbury Celebrates the Coronation

We are excited to host a variety of fun events and activities across the 7th and 8th May to celebrate the King’s Coronation.

On Sunday 7 May, as part of the Big Lunch, people of all ages can bring a picnic, relax and enjoy a traditional British Fete at Queen Elizabeth Gardens from 11am – 4pm.

In Salisbury Market Place there will be a whole host of live music from 3pm – 10pm. Dance the night away with some of Salisbury’s best bands as they light up the Square.

On Monday 8 May in the Guildhall Square, people are encouraged to bring some canned tins to donate to Your Salisbury Pantry as part of the Big Help Out and help do your bit for our community.

This is expected to be a huge event where thousands of people will come together in the community to celebrate the Coronation. We are mostly on the look out for community groups and organisations and this will be a fab opportunity to spread awareness of your cause and raise vital funds.

Salisbury Street Sellers

A showcase of independent artisans, crafters and vintage traders, this market is a celebration of creativity and skill. Whether you are an established trader, have a small home business or are a home crafter, Salisbury Street Sellers gives you the opportunity showcase your wares from just £12 a space. With a different exciting theme every month, including dinosaurs and a dog show, it’s open every second Sunday of the month from May – October.

Salisbury Motor Show

This fantastic celebration of motor vehicles will take over the Market Place on Sunday 18 June from 10am – 5pm. The huge FREE day of motoring fun gives you the chance to showcase your motor vehicles.

Whether you have a pre-war classic, a supercar or a sports car, we are seeking an array of vehicles to be displayed at The Salisbury Motor Show.

We will also be on the look out for food and drink vendors. Please check this page regularly for updates.

Fun in the Park

Fun in the Park is returning this year after being a huge success in 2022.

The free event for all the family is taking place on 31st May from 11-3 in Victoria Park and features eco garden themed crafts, information stands, face painting and family fun. Families with kids aged 5-11 will have the opportunity to have fun outdoors and learn about nature and the climate.

Armed Forces Day

Armed Forces Day will take place in June 2023 to show our support for the past, present and future of our Armed Forces.

The event is fun and family orientated, attracting visitors from in and around Salisbury.

Fayre on the Square

A charming pop up event that takes place during the summer holidays! With outside games, a bar and food vendors, Fayre on the Square is a fantastic spot for people to relax and soak up the sun.

With holidaymakers and Salisbury residents visiting throughout its opening, the Fayre is a great spot to sell during the summer.

The Guildhall Wedding Fair

The popular Wedding Fair is taking place on Sunday 26 March 2023 and Sunday 24 September 2023. With free entry, brides and grooms to be walk through the doors of the Guildhall to get inspiration for their big day.

With more and more people looking to use local suppliers, you will get the opportunity to promote your business face to face and build relationships with clients and other suppliers.

A food and drink extravaganza taking place in September 2023! With food demos, tastings, local chefs and The Great Salisbury Bake Off, the event celebrates Salisbury’s best food and is enjoyed by thousands.

Salisbury Charter Fair

Roll up, roll up to Salisbury’s historic Fair! Open in October of every year since 1227, the fair takes over Salisbury Market Place with family favourites including dodgems, hook-a-duck, waltzer and ghost train. The Fair is a local household name and attracts thousands of visitors from Salisbury and surrounding areas.

Several floating positions are available at the Fair, please contact events@salisburycitycouncil.gov.uk or check this page regularly for the application form.
