The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the governance of the Council and is responsible for the strategic management of responsibilities as directed by the elected Leadership group.

The Responsible Finance Officer and team make payments and invoice in a timely manner and ensure we meet our financial rules and regulations.

Head of Environmental Services
The Head of Environmental Services and team ensure our City, parks and open spaces look welcoming and our buildings are safe. They monitor our CCTV team to keep us safe and our Crematorium provides a quality service in saying goodbye to and remembering our loved ones.

Head of Community Services
The Head of Community Services and team work with our residents to improve opportunities and support physical and mental wellbeing whilst also providing our Pantry shop. Operating the Bemerton Heath Centre and Friary Centre they are active in the heart of the community.

Head of Human Resources
The Head of Human Resources supports the Salisbury City Council workforce with employment issues, training and inclusion and is important to the creation of a healthy staff team.

The Head of Corporate Services and team are responsible for the Council’s administration, democratic services and the organisation of meetings. They also provide support to the Mayor and manage his diary and arrange the Civic events.

The Head of Business Operations and team run the Guildhall, Information Centre, Shopmobility, the Charter Market and some of our big city events. Essential to creating a lively and vibrant place to live – it’s a dynamic and exciting area of work.
