As part of English Tourism Week, 13th to 22nd March 2026, Salisbury Information Centre has teamed up with the Salisbury City Guides to run three walking tours through Salisbury.
14th March – Constable and Turner: Two Artists in Salisbury – 2pm
Learn how these two famous 18th century artists came to Salisbury to paint and follow in their footsteps of the locations they chose to do so.

This stage will offer a fantastic opportunity for local performers, businesses, schools, college/university students, community groups, buskers and many others to showcase their talents, gain valuable live event experience, or host their own events.

Wedding planning just got easier! The Guildhall Wedding Fair is returning to Salisbury’s magnificent Grade II* listed Guildhall.
Free entry and a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival.
The Wedding Fair offers couples a fantastic opportunity to meet local wedding exhibitors and get inspiration for your special day. Discover bridal wear, jewellery, flowers, photography, catering and more, with plenty of options to bring your dream wedding to life.
The friendly Guildhall team will also be on hand to offer information on how you can use the historic building as your wedding venue. Join us and explore what our talented suppliers have to offer.

Get ready for a night of non-stop laughs in a grand setting, as the magnificent Guildhall transforms into a comedy club for the night, welcoming three cracking comedians straight from your telly and into the historic Banqueting Hall.
Doors open at 7.15pm, so come early, grab a drink from the bar, and settle in. The show kicks off promptly at 8pm and will finish at approx. 9.40pm.

Get ready for a day of celebration as Salisbury Market Place and Guildhall Square come alive with an exciting, family-friendly event on Sunday 26 April! Taking place in the heart of the city from 10am to 4pm, come and experience the lively atmosphere.
The day will kick off with a short procession – arrive early to witness the opening festivities!
Browse an array of stalls, indulge in delicious food and drink, and enjoy an exciting lineup of activities, including creative workshops, children’s fair rides, medieval music, children’s knight school and historical re-enactments. With something for everyone, it’s a day of fun for the whole family!
Salisbury City Council is proud to still celebrate St George’s Day annually, and this is a wonderful opportunity to come together and enjoy a day filled with community, tradition, and entertainment – and entry is free!

Salisbury Charter Fair

Every October Salisbury Charter Fair takes over the Market Place to light up the centre of Salisbury and bring fun for all the family!
From family favourites like the carousel, dodgems and waltzer, to adrenaline-fuelled attractions such as ‘Chaos’, ‘Star Flyer’, and other high-energy rides, the Salisbury Charter Fair has something for everyone. Not forgetting the sweet treats, street food and refreshments on offer too – you can’t have a funfair without some candy floss!
With roots dating back to 1227, when King Henry III granted a charter to the Bishop of Salisbury to hold a fair on the third Monday in October, the event remains a treasured annual tradition.

Salisbury will pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country at the annual Remembrance Sunday Service.
Participants will gather at the War Memorial in the Guildhall Square for a small ceremony, which all are welcome to attend, and observe a 2-minute silence at 11.00am, followed by prayers.
The parade will then process to St. Thomas’s Church for the Sunday Service, before returning to the Guildhall.
Armistice Day
