The FEASTival is an eggcellent new event arriving in Salisbury over the Easter weekend, bringing family-focused fun to the Guildhall Square.
Join us for live music, artisan market stalls, children’s entertainment, street food and pop-up bars as Zoom Events delivers four days of activities.

Get ready for a day of celebration as Salisbury Market Place and Guildhall Square come alive with an exciting, family-friendly event on Sunday 27 April! Taking place in the heart of the city from 10am to 4pm, come and experience the lively atmosphere.
The day will kick off with a short procession, led by mace bearers, featuring medieval musicians, knights in shining armour, Morris dancers, and the Salisbury Giant, as well as Salisbury City Councillors. Arrive early to witness the opening festivities!
Browse an array of stalls, indulge in delicious food and drink, and enjoy an exciting lineup of activities, including creative workshops, children’s fair rides, medieval music, children’s knight school and historical re-enactments. With something for everyone, it’s a day of fun for the whole family!
Make your way to Salisbury Guildhall for 12pm for a free St George’s Day themed tour of the city, led by the Blue Badge Guides.
Salisbury City Council is proud to still celebrate St George’s Day annually, and this is a wonderful opportunity to come together and enjoy a day filled with community, tradition, and entertainment – and entry is free!

Come and join the Shopmobility Team on a Scooter Scoot of some of the historic and picturesque streets of Salisbury. Travel in convoy with other scooter and powerchair users whilst hearing tales about two outstanding local characters from Salisbury’s medieval days and also visiting the historic church of St Martins. Returning to Shopmobility (underneath Sainsbury’s) for drinks and light refreshments. If you have limited mobility this is for you!

Fayre on the Square

Our popular 6-week pop-up event will be coming back this summer for the city to enjoy.

The Wiltshire Alliance is made up of multiple Motorcycle Clubs in Wiltshire. The rally started in 2022, this is the 4th year in the making. The Rally is to raise money for charity. To date £7000 has been raised over 3 years, supporting the Stars Appeal, Combat Stress, Julias House and Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

Salisbury Charter Fair

Every October Salisbury Charter Fair takes over the Market Place to light up the centre of Salisbury and bring fun for all the family!
Find fairground favourites, including dodgems, hook-a-duck, waltzer and ghost train, alongside a variety of exhilarating rides – plenty of options for all ages! Not forgetting the sweet treats and refreshments on offer too – you can’t have a funfair without some candy floss!
In 1227, seven years after the building of Salisbury Cathedral began, King Henry III granted a Charter to the Bishop of Salisbury to hold a fair on the third Monday in October. That same charter granted the city permission to hold a market every Tuesday. Both the Charter Market and Charter Fair are still held to this very day.

Remembrance Sunday

Location: Guildhall Square & St Thomas’s Church, Salisbury

Salisbury will pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country at the annual Remembrance Sunday Service.
Participants will gather at the War Memorial in the Guildhall Square for a small ceremony, which all are welcome to attend, and observe a 2-minute silence at 11.00am, followed by prayers.
The parade will then process to St. Thomas’s Church for the Sunday Service, before returning to the Guildhall.
Armistice Day
Date: 11th November

A small service to mark Armistice Day, which all are welcome to attend.
The Mayor of Salisbury, City Councillors, veterans, standard-bearers and the Royal British Legion band will be in attendance.
