We believe in having beautiful spaces for the community to come together and enjoy nature, sports, learning activities and celebrations in a green and lively City.

Our parks team, grounds team and many groups of volunteers care for a range of parks and open spaces across the city for the enjoyment of residents and visitors whilst hosting a range of community events.

Community Development Officers support a fantastic programme of community development activity from our two community centres in direct support of the immediate community but also available for hire for voluntary organisations and residents from across the city.

Parks and
Open Spaces

Salisbury is home to a fantastic variety of parks and open spaces which provide opportunities for sport, leisure and recreation.

With dog walking paths, sports pitches, parkour, picnic areas and more, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Pavilions

Some of our parks and open spaces benefit from pavilions which offer a space for socialising, sports and community events. All of our pavilions have changing rooms and toilet facilities.
