Salisbury City Council announces its Christmas 2025 events
Salisbury City Council is pleased to announce its line-up of events for the 2025 festive season, with Salisbury Market Place and Guildhall Square set to come alive with a variety of activities, offering something for everyone to enjoy.
Christmas Begins: 21 November 2025
Kick off the festive season in Salisbury at Christmas Begins! Enjoy live music, entertainment, festive stalls, and delicious food and drink, from 1pm – 8pm on Salisbury Market Place. It’s free entry and fun for all the family!
Christmas on the Square: 21 November – 31 December 2025
Join us during Christmas on the Square – a festive pop-up right in the heart of Salisbury! Meet Santa in his grotto, treat yourself to delicious food, relax in the bar with live music and entertainment on select days, and explore a charming selection of retail huts – all on the Guildhall Square.
Santa’s Grotto: 21 November – 24 December 2025
Santa has made time in his busy schedule to return to Salisbury this Christmas – come and meet him in his grotto! Capture the joy of Christmastime with a family photo and feel the excitement as your little one awaits a special moment with Santa himself. Each child will receive a wrapped gift to take home, straight from Santa’s workshop! Click here to pre-book your grotto tickets.
Sunday Festive Markets: 30 November, 7, 14, 21 December 2025
Get into the Christmas spirit with the Sunday Festive Markets – whether you are hunting for handcrafted gifts, seasonal treats, or simply want to soak up the lively atmosphere on Salisbury Market Place. Browse a wide range of stalls, showcasing unique goods and local traders! With markets running on the four Sundays before Christmas from 10am – 4pm, there are plenty of chances to explore the stalls, indulge in delicious food and drink, and find those special gifts for your loved ones.
