Notice of Vacancy

Notice is hereby given that a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for Salisbury City Council, due to the sad passing of the late Bob Gann.

An election to fill the vacancy will be held if 10 electors from the City Ward of Salisbury (Salisbury St Edmund’s Ward) write to the Returning Officer at Wiltshire Council by 25 September 2025 asking for an election to be held. Otherwise, the vacancy will be filled by co-option.

If an election is called, it will take place no later than 27 November 2025.
