Show your support for our Armed Forces at Salisbury’s Armed Forces Day
Armed Forces Day is a fantastic opportunity to honour the brave members of our Armed Forces, past and present, who have dedicated their lives to the service of our country.
Salisbury is set to celebrate Armed Forces Day on Sunday 28 June, from 10am to 4pm in Salisbury Market Place. The event is organised by Salisbury City Council with support from Headquarters South West.
This year, the event will open with a procession, including representatives from the Armed Forces, Lord Lieutenant’s Office and City Council, and Rt Hon John Glen MP, leaving The Guildhall at approximately 9.55am, then down Fish Row, Butcher Row and across the Market Place. Opening speeches will be delivered by Cllr Jenny Bolwell, Mayor of Salisbury, and Colonel James Bird, Commander of Joint Military Command South West.
Join us for this family-friendly event, with military displays, free make and take workshops, children’s fair rides, and face painting, as well as street food, retail and Armed Forces charity stalls, plus live entertainment throughout the day.
For the full schedule, visit the what’s on webpage.
