Inviting the Mayor
The Mayor attends many civic and community engagements throughout the year and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to invite them to your event.
You will find some guidance on this page, but please don’t hesitate to contact the Corporate Department if you need any more information.
Invitations are generally accepted on a first come, first served basis, however, preference will be given to events within the City.
As invitations are generally accepted on a first come, first served basis, to avoid disappointment, please try to make your request as early as possible – the more notice you give the better, as the Mayor’s diary does fill up quickly.
If for any reason the Mayor is unable to attend, your invitation will be passed to the Deputy Mayor if deemed appropriate.
Please send all Mayoral correspondence to:
The Right Worshipful the Mayor of the City of Salisbury
Salisbury City Council
The Guildhall
Market Place
Salisbury
Wiltshire
SP1 1JH
or email mayor@salisburycitycouncil.gov.uk.

The Form
Please complete the online form below in order to allow the Mayor’s Office to process your request.
Before you invite the Mayor, it may be useful to ask yourself the following questions. This will help us to make sure that the Mayor is fully informed about your occasion and aware of what is expected of them.
- Why would you like the Mayor to attend?
- What would you like them to do at the event?
- What is the purpose of the Mayor attending?
Any extra information you can provide on the form will be most appreciated; this will help ensure that your event runs as smoothly as possible and you get the most out of your time with the Mayor.
