Alan is originally from Palmers Green in North London and went to The Latymer School in Edmonton, before studying Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Hertfordshire. He moved to Salisbury in 2009 and works as a solution architect for a multinational IT company.
He is involved in community sport, specifically triathlon, at an organisational level both locally and regionally, as well as being a determined competitor having represented Salisbury Tri Club at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships and Great Britain in the European Championships at age group level.
Alan lived in Bishopdown in Salisbury Milford ward for five years before moving the short distance to Salisbury Stratford & St. Francis, where he has lived since.
