Caroline has lived in Salisbury all of her life. She shares her family home with her husband Tom, 2 Sons and pets. Her daughter and family live nearby in Amesbury.
Caroline has always taken an active role in the community first through Treetops Pre-school following on to Woodlands Primary School PTA whilst her children were there. Currently Treasurer of The Bemerton Heath Residents Association, and is looking forward to helping people in Bemerton Ward and the wider Salisbury Community. She is keen to see a better representation of marginalised groups such as the LGBTQ+ community and coordinates Salisbury Pride with a small local committee. She is also a member of the Labour Party, Salisbury & District Trades Council and Unison.
Caroline has been a councillor since May 2013 and is our current Deputy Mayor, she is an ambassador for Mental Health awareness and would like to see more people trained as Mental Health First aiders to assist with this. She actively organised the first Mental Health roadshow in October 2019.
She has worked within the NHS most of her working life and is employed at Salisbury District Hospital where she has been since April 2018.
