A public meeting was held to discuss the 2024/2025 budget with residents

Salisbury residents and Administration Leaders of Salisbury City Council met on Monday 4 December at Salisbury Guildhall to discuss the budget for 2024/2025.

Cllr Victoria Charleston started the evening with a short presentation followed by a roundtable discussion, featuring feedback and questions from residents.

The meeting follows a budget consultation process which took place during August and September earlier this year, with residents’ priorities reflected in the allocation of funds for the budget.

One of the Leaders of the Council, Cllr Ian Tomes said, “It was great to be able to share the draft budget to residents for their thoughts. There was an interesting discussion with all feedback noted before the final budget is agreed at Full Council on Monday 22 January.”
