Notice of Vacancy in Office of Councillor

Following the resignation of Mark Mewse, a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Salisbury (Salisbury St Francis and Stratford Ward) of the City Council.

An election to fill the vacancy will be held if 10 electors from the Parish of Salisbury (Salisbury St Francis and Stratford Ward) electoral area write to the Returning Officer at Wiltshire Council by 10 May 2024 for an election to be held. Otherwise, the vacancy will be filled by co-option. If an election is called, it will take place no later than 15 July 2024.

The Election Request Form can also be found on the Salisbury City Council website or collected from the Salisbury Information Centre.
