Salisbury City Council are now running into the 3rd year of our highly successful Christmas event “Christmas Begins” which will be marking the start of the Festive season within our city on Friday 15 November 2024. The event runs from 1pm until 8pm throughout the Market Place and Guildhall Square. We are looking for a selection of food & drink vendors to be part of the event, especially items with a festive spin. There will also be an Artisan Market, fair rides and various entertainment throughout the event; along with our 6 week pop up “Christmas on the Square”, which will be opening at 4pm on the same day, the cities festive lights will be shining bright for the first time this year too on that day.

NB This application is for street food/drink products for onsite consumption.

If you would like to sell food and drink/packaged items to be consumed offsite, please complete a Food/Drink Retailer application.

Venue: The Market Place, The Guildhall Square and the Guildhall.

Event Date: Friday 15 November 2024

Event Time: 1pm– 8.30pm

Electricity: Basic lighting and/or electricity for your gazebo will be provided upon request

Cover: Please bring your own equipment, gazebo/tables/chairs.

Using any electrical equipment of fittings

Selling of alcohol
Using your own gazebo
