Salisbury residents invited to public meeting to discuss the City Council budget for 2024/2025

Residents of Salisbury are invited to a meeting with the Administration Leaders of Salisbury City Council on Monday 4 December to discuss the budget for 2024/2025.

Following the budget consultation process which took place during August and September the Council has now prepared its draft budget for 2024/25. Residents shared that their priorities are centred around having a green city with clean streets, and a lively city with a year round programme of events. This has therefore been reflected in the allocation of funds.

Starting at 6.30pm in Salisbury Guildhall, the draft budget will be shared with local residents for comment.

The evening will begin with a short presentation followed by a round table discussion where residents will have the opportunity to ask any questions. Questions and feedback will be gathered before the final budget is issued and agreed at Full Council on Monday 22 January.
